The overhaul of the 16-kilometer interval of the route between the settlements of Mironushka and Kuznetsovka in the Valday region started in April 2018. The work was carried out by Tekhnostroy LLC St. Petersburg. The average car traffic per day here is about 17 thousand cars. Due to the large traffic flow, it was decided to expand the route with an increase in the number of lanes to four.
Taking into account the high intensity of freight vehicles, the Tveravtodorproekt Institute, in order to increase the turnaround time and operational reliability of the pavement, used high-strength woven geotextile Geospan TN-80, which performs the combined function of reinforcement and separation (A + P) according to ODM 218.2.046-2014 in the lower layers of the pavement base. Moreover, Geospan TN-20 was used to separate the sandy underlying layer from the working layer of the subgrade.
