Reconstruction of the bridge over the river Chumysh on the interval km 150 - km 158 of the R-256 "Chuysky Trakt" highway

The federal highway P-256 "Chuysky Trakt" is the most important transport corridor in Western Siberia through the Novosibirsk Region, Altai Territory and goes to the border with Mongolia. The projected interval of the route is located in the floodplain of the Chumysh River and is periodically subjected to flooding. As a result, the base of the embankment, composed of heaving soils, is waterlogged, which requires effective design solutions that prevent the manifestation of subsidence and coating defects. As such an event, it was proposed to install a geotextile layer made of high-strength woven geotextile Geospan TN-80.

GEXA engineers performed calculations of the pavement structure in the "Indor Pavement" program in accordance with the current regulatory documents. Calculations have shown that the use of Geospan TN-80 increases the overall modulus of elasticity of the road structure and the shear margin in the subgrade. A news footage on this construction project has been broadcast by the media resource "Vesti. Altai".

In 2016, the "North-Eastern DSU" road construction contractor laid 70,000 m² of reinforcing geotextile.
