Effectiveness and application area

Geospan TS filter nonwoven geotextile has a special structure of yarn fastening. Polyester filaments are fastened to each other as often as possible, which allows achieving high filtration and strength with a minimum thickness of the geotextile. Such a structure does not create barriers to the water flow, it does not silt and keeps the geometry of the filter pores under operating pressure. These qualities are in demand in the construction of drainage and drainage systems, as well as in the protection of waterlogged slopes.

The use of Geospan TS allows:

• Protect the drainage structure from clogging by fine soil particles;

• Extend the service life of the drainage structure and maintenance intervals;

• Ensure the required drainage rate and water flow capacity;

• Protect against washout of fine soil fractions in the bottom of the waterlogged embankment.

Fields of Geospan TS application:

• for creation of drainage systems of road clothes (surface, trench and slope drainage);

• for strengthening of drainage ditches;

• for drainage systems arrangement (water removal from foundations, closed and open drainage);

• in landscape works;

• flat roofing.
