Efficiency and scope of application

Geospan SL geogrids are effectively used to protect slopes of embankments, cuts, and bridge cones against water and wind erosion. The geomaterial is fixed on the slope, after which it is covered with fertile soil with seeds of perennial grasses. Due to the lightness of the Geospan SL material, it can be used on slopes of increased steepness (1:1 or more).

The use of Geospan SL enables to:

• reduce construction time;

• simplify and speed up work with weak soil;

• perform complex landscape work on slopes of increased steepness [1:1 or more].

Application scope of Geospan SL:

• providing anti-erosion protection of slopes of embankments and excavations;

• providing support for the root system of grass sowing for subsequent aesthetic appearance of the slope;

• reinforcing of rock dumps in the process of developing mines, combines.

• reinforcement of railway and airfield subgrades;

• reinforcement of sites intended for complex and critical structures.
