Efficiency and scope of application

The effectiveness of Geospan TNPE geotextile was confirmed in the implementation of engineering solutions for the construction of reinforced soil structures in difficult geological conditions.

The use of Geospan TNPE enables:

• reduce the volume of preparatory and earthworks, making it possible to partially use local materials in order to reduce costs and reduce construction time;

• ensure the necessary stability of the structure;

• prevent extrusion and washing out of inert materials;

• reduce the period of settlement and the amount of consolidation of the embankment;

• to increase the designed steepness of the embankment slopes in order to reduce the width of the embankment base and the occupied right of way.

Application scope of Geospan TNPE:

• reinforcement of high embankments;

• ensuring the stability of retaining walls along the collapse curve;

• arrangement of embankments on a pile foundation;

• structures on weak foundations.
